Filed under: Features We all love Judge Judy: there’s nothing quite like watching her expertly dispatch with a ditzy witness in a dispute over a stolen toaster oven. This is a woman who wrote a book titled ‘Don’t Pee on My Leg and Tell Me It’s Raining.’ Yes, Judge Judy Sheindlin is an American treasure. As her show continues with its 16th season, nearly everyone in America knows who Judge Judy is, but we’d venture that even the lawyers and paralegals among us may not know how her show actually works.
