There were tears, butt pads, nip slips, unnecessarily nasty comments from the judges and jaw-dropping dances (both good and bad)

Oxygen announced today the 12 lucky performers chosen to compete for a seven-episode guest arc on ‘Glee’ in the new reality show ‘The Glee Project.’ After being narrowed down from a pool of 34,000 MySpace auditioners and even more open call and industry hopefuls, the final 12 contestants will be whittled down further via workshops, singing, dancing and acting tasks from ‘Glee’ higher-ups. Co-creator Ryan Murphy, casting director Robert Ulrich and choreographer Zach Woodlee will judge, and ‘Glee’ cast members will stop by to offer words of encouragement

['The Biggest Loser: Couples' - 'Week Seventeen'] “At this time I’m asking to leave ‘The Biggest Loser’ for personal reasons.” With the premiere of ‘The Voice’ truncating ‘Loser’ to a single hour this week and next, I was half-expecting to get a half-episode from the producers. After all, there were only seven contestants left in the game coming into this episode

Filed under: Reality-Free , TV Replay The judges on ‘American Idol’ have gotten a lot of flak this season for their lack of criticism to most of the contestants. Christoph Waltz went on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ (Weeknights, 12AM ET on ABC) with a rather clever response to the criticism. Using footage from the show, he set up the skit as if he was a contestant on the show, only he was judging the judges.
