Filed under: TV Replay Today on ‘The View’ (weekdays, syndicated on ABC), Randy Jackson was asked his pick for the eventual winner of this season’s ‘American Idol.’ We wouldn’t advise betting the house based on Jackson’s response. “I think it’s going to either be a boy or a girl,” he said. The three remaining contestants are Lauren Alaina, Scotty McCreery and Haley Reinhart

Filed under: Reality-Free , TV Replay The judges on ‘American Idol’ have gotten a lot of flak this season for their lack of criticism to most of the contestants. Christoph Waltz went on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ (Weeknights, 12AM ET on ABC) with a rather clever response to the criticism. Filed under: TV Replay The premiere of Season Six of ‘America’s Best Dance Crew’ (Thu., 10PM on MTV) continued this week with the five remaining finalists hitting the stage with their takes on the hits of Ke$ha. But one group in particular stole the night with a nod to another MTV superstar, Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino . ICONic Boyz is a kid dance crew, but there’s nothing juvenile about their moves or musical interpretation.

Filed under: TV News , Stay Tuned ‘American Idol’ thrives on controversy and scandal, but the revamped judging panel of Steven Tyler, Jennifer Lopez and Randy Jackson was surprisingly — if not alarmingly — well behaved at a media event on Tuesday. Of course, the Fox talent show will undergo a variety of alterations this season, and if 2011 doesn’t bring a better season of ‘Idol,’ the new year will undoubtedly bring a different season of ‘Idol,’ at the very least
