Wacky ‘Idol’ season 8 cast-off ‘Norman Gentle’ (aka Nick Marshall) weighed in on this year’s ‘Idol’ season on ‘The Wendy Williams Show.’ Decked in his trademark sweatband and sparkly shirt, Gentle dished on the judges this season, including new girl on the panel Ellen DeGeneres and her rumored rivalry with Simon Cowell . “There was a report, not that I want to gossip but hey, that Ellen did not like the lighting on ‘Idol,’” Gentle said, giving another reason that DeGeneres may have moved from her seat next to Cowell.
