From each duet they chose a winner to continue in the competition, and eliminated another singer. !!SPOILER ALERT!! Cee Lo Green pitted smooth R&B singer Tje Austin against soulful crooner Nakia on Ne-Yo’s ‘Closer.’ It was a hard-fought battle and both singers sounded fantastic, but Nakia’s passionate intonation just carred more weight than the smooth tones in Austin’s voice.
