Filed under: TV News A video of CBS journalist Serene Branson flubbing her words while reporting on last night’s Grammy results has gone viral — but not for the reason you might think. The 17-second clip shows Branson completely unable to pronounce any of the words she’s trying to say as she slurs her way through the incomprehensible report. The Telegraph reports that Branson was hospitalized out of concern she might’ve suffered a stroke on air, while the New York Daily News reports that she was examined by EMTs and sent home.

On ‘The Wendy Williams Show’ (weekdays, syndicated), Kara DioGuardi spilled a little more about her ‘American Idol ‘ contestant crush Casey James, whose all-American good looks have been a hot topic for her ever since she famously asked James to remove his shirt during his audition. Wacky ‘Idol’ season 8 cast-off ‘Norman Gentle’ (aka Nick Marshall) weighed in on this year’s ‘Idol’ season on ‘The Wendy Williams Show.’ Decked in his trademark sweatband and sparkly shirt, Gentle dished on the judges this season, including new girl on the panel Ellen DeGeneres and her rumored rivalry with Simon Cowell . “There was a report, not that I want to gossip but hey, that Ellen did not like the lighting on ‘Idol,’” Gentle said, giving another reason that DeGeneres may have moved from her seat next to Cowell.
